Hmm, look at the wheel on the static axis. And on the mug, so here, if this part in a circle is treated with Emery and wax/paraffin, it will be spinning well.

It’s important to be very careful with the parts because I broke 5 in the assembly and there was only spare for one (for the others I used glue).
I don’t see it for a kid, but for an adult it’s great.
