5m 40D RIPSTOP NYLON FABRIC

Optimizing strength to weight ratio, light but strong!

For the purpose that fabric is light but has high strength, a special reinforcing technique is applied during manufacturing to make it resistant to tearing and ripping.

Note: The property “ripstop” means that the tear on fabric won’t spread like other ordinary fabrics.

PU(polyurethane) Coating

Protective Layer: PU coating gives fabric excellent air-tightness, water repellent, UV Resistance and acts as a protective layer for fabric to maintain bright colors.

Flexible: PU Coating on the side of fabric to give it a soft feel in order that the fabric is flexible enough tobe made into any designed shape while still looks natural and smooth.

Low stretch: PU Coating has fabric stretch less. Even after intense uses, the fabric will retain its shape.

Application:

Kite sails: 40D ripstop nylon is the most used kite fabric. You can make almost all kinds of kites out of it, like single line kites, foil kites, inflatable objects, laundry, traction kites, etc. If you need fabric for stunt kites, please go for PC20 fabric.
